What happiness is..for me

I wrote this back in Feb. '09, but just thinking to post it here...:)




A friend of mine came to me and said, “I've got problem.. what kind of problems I inquiried, "I’m lonely!" … then she further on said, her hubby is working 90km away and meet up only on weekends and it’s been 2 years and yet she is not used to it yet. I look at my own life (way of living), my hubby works 120km away, he has been working in the same company since 1987! .. Yes, you might say, you ‘ve been living this way, half of your life, nothing new, but your friend has to deal with this-long-distance relationship for the past 2 years. I admit, I’ve had my moment as well, ages ago, but, I guarantee, the sooner you get used to ‘new’ idea, the faster it’s gonna get better. I totally believe, what we think (in mind) predominantly, will happen in the real world. If you think, you cannot do things without your loved ones, it will happen as you predict. I always said, happines is created, & not looked for. I believe, each and every human being has the capacity to feel happy, regardless the circumstances, if only they allow themselves to be. If you have husband and kids to take care of, they’re supporting elements (big ones) to our happiness, yes they are, however, kids grow up, someday they will find their own way, they might work overseas this and that, will you say that your happiness will vanish once your kids grow up?. I don’t think it will. Be happy for whatever circumstances you’re in, let it be alone w/ yourself, be w/your loved ones, hang out with friends, at the office doing your routines. I cherish every moment of it, I’m happy having my cup of coffee early morning in the office and at home on weekends, the smell of coffee, brightens my day. I love discussing my beloved Supernatural series (*heart * Dean/Sam Winchester)with my friends around the world through forum in the internet. I love discussing my other idol, Rain a.k.a. Bi with my fellow Biers. I love chatting with my old friends-reunian this and that – from elementary school through my college years who happens to still keep in touch up to this point , I lovee hanging out w/ my colleagues & former colleagues, my former neighbour, I adore chatting w/ brothers’ families and my relatives. There are many many things in life that can make my day. It happens because I allow these so many wonderful things to make me happy. The key, I ALLOW. I won’t limit my happiness through certain conditions or situations, because to live to the fullest is my main thing. Live today, not worry about tomorrow or yesterday, because they’re not HERE… Now is HERE and it is everything if you can ENJOY every bit of it.
